Amazon Baby Favorites: 6-12 Month

6-12 month baby Amazon favotires

I have so many new products that we use every single day so I thought I would share my top favorites!  These are truly things we use all of the time and love. This Amazon baby favorites list is the ultimate list for any child!

I can’t believe my baby girl is already 8 months old!  So many fun things are happening now.  She’s saying “dada” and rolling everywhere and sitting up.  She loves eating food and chewing on everything.  All of these items are so helpful with all of the new things she’s learning and exploring!

I only recommend products I would use myself and all opinions expressed here are our own. This post may contain affiliate links that at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission.

Feeding

1. Booster Feeding and Floor Seat

This is a great alternative to a Bumbo.  We used this seat for feeding Violet when she was just starting solids or when we had her on the counter in the kitchen with us.

My favorite part about it is it converts to a booster seat so you can transition your child to sitting at the table.  The tray slides into the seat and the back rest comes off too!

2. Silicone Bibs

These are the way to go for meal time!  We have a set of 3 and that’s all we will need.  My sister only had one bib per kid and it lasted until they were 3 years old!

Easy clean up!

3. Silicone Spoons

This is the exact set of spoons we have and they’re perfect for starting purees.  The only downside is orange foods stain them so now we just have a designated “orange spoon”.

4. Silicone Suction Plate

This is such a cool invention!  We’ve only used it a few times but it’s genius.  It’s microwave and dishwasher safe.

Toys and Books

1. Itsy Bitsy Spider Crinkle Book

This one is always a hit.  It has taggies, it crinkles, and it has interactive pages.  Highly recommend.  It’s definitely Violet’s favorite book.

2. Activity Cube

This is our “end of the night let’s try to make it to bedtime last resort” toy.  It lights up, it sings, it has multiple fun sides that she can maneuver.  It’s one of her absolute favorites that we save for those times we guarantee she’ll be cheered up by it.

It’s also not super obnoxious.  It has lots of songs and different volume settings.  That’s very important as a parent!

3. Foam Puzzle Book

I didn’t even know this like this existed!  These books have 4 pages and every page has inlayed foam puzzle pieces in it.  My 8 month old likes to pull them out and chew on them.  But my 3 year old and 5 year old niece and nephew like to take them out and play with them and do all the puzzles!

It’s a great book for learning colors (we have the numbers one too) and fine  motor skills!  Great for many ages.

4. Wooden Jumper

Little love is currently sitting in this as I’m writing this.  I love this jumper because it’s not fully plastic so it’s cute!  It also plays a couple of not annoying songs.  Check it out if you’re looking for something that goes with your modern decor!

5. Playmat

I mentioned this playmat before but we are still using it so I’m talking about it again!  We’ve attached different things to it or we just use it as a hub where she likes to play.

This is another one of those baby toys/activity centers that is just super cute.  I like it because it’s gender neutral with the green leaf as the base.  We like it a lot.

Clothing and Sleep

1. Sleep Sacks

We used swaddles up until Violet could roll and was breaking out of them.  We used that starfish sleep sack for a little bit and transitioned to the sleeveless kind after that.

I like these thin cotton ones for all seasons.

2. Tight Ankle Pants

Who knew I’d have an opinion about baby pants!  But here we are.  Violet mainly wore zipper jammies 24/7 for most of her days but when we wear pants it’s usually something like these.

The tight ankles don’t ride up her chunky thighs as much and occasionally socks stay on a little better if you put the socks on before the pants!

3. Fleece Snap Booties

I feel like these are another new invention that are so cool.  Maybe I’m just learning about them because I’m a new mom but I love these.

They have two snap settings and really do stay on for the most part.  Great for colder seasons or if you don’t want to finagle with socks.

Health and Care

1. MAM Air Pacifiers

I know everyone has their own pacifier preference but these are the ones I started using specifically because of skin issues.  My baby started getting little eczema spots from drool and irritation from previous pacifiers.

These ones just allowed air to dry out her face a little more.  Especially while teething and drooling!

2. Fruit Teethers

Speaking of teethers… These are ones we got as a Christmas gift and absolutely looooove them!  They’re just simple silicone teethers that have a sort of stem/handle on them that are easy for young ones to hold.

3. Silicone Toothbrush

This is a new item for us but we already love it.  Violet can hold it herself and it has a ring around it to prevent choking.  It’s a little starter toothbrush as her first teeth pop through!

4. Electric Nail File

This is the last item on the list but I would say this is my most recommended #1 item.  It’s a nail filing set with different attachments, settings, and a carrying case.

Violet’s nails need to be trimmed once a week ON THE DOT or else she’ll claw my face off.  I despise using nail clipper and was resorting to biting her nails off for a while! (I know, gross.)  But now I have this nail file which is quick and painless for everyone!  It’s seriously so nice

So that’s it!  My top recommended items for ages 6 months and on.  We really do use these things every single day.  It’s so funny the preferences I have now over things.  It’s weird to learn these things as I grow into being a mom!

I always say I wish it came with a handbook but there is no one right way to do things so I guess we all have to learn with what we’ve got!  But it doesn’t hurt to get a little help along the way.  So I hope this helps!
